y very first woodworking project, in the late 1980s.  Made with reclaimed wood from a pantry and detailed with padouk, this table took me a year to build.  I had limited tools: A Sears router, a skill saw, a sabre saw, drill, belt sander and some hand tools - a plane, some chisels, a small dowel jig. I can't count the mistakes I made; the little red feet and padouk rails are solutions to some of the worse ones. I still love it; the top detatches easily and the legs just weigh a few pounds. The wood is a mystery; the plywood top is light in color and has walnut on the underside.
